Hey guys im repairing my cars body and iv ordered a new bumper and cover, hasnt come in yet. How do i remove the actual bumper after 17 years mine was completley done? Any information would be grateful.

 

if you look inside the trunk, there's 4 17mm head bolts that hold it on.

 

damn i never wouldve guessed, was trying too cut it out or from the buttom. thank you man.

 

Wow that looks awful. Get some sandpaper and some primer and respray that area before you put the new bumper on. It will help that metal last a good deal longer.

 

yah i was gonna grind it down and put a new piece of tin for the bumper support that was there, primer/paint it. cant find a support new whatever it was it was welded onto the body? but yah the cars in Ontario, Canada had some rust but its been restored now basically. never seeing winter again! beater ftw
