Default 98 Civic - Power locks, dome/map lights, and plate light not functioning

This is with a 1998 Honda Civic EX Sedan. With the exception of the driver's side all of the power locks are not functioning, as well as the dome, map, and plate lights. I checked the bulbs and they seem fine, as well as the fuses. Is there a common issue that could be connecting all of these? I'm as new as it gets to these types of problems, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Voltage test fuse 43.

Check for broken wires in the driver and passenger door jamb connectors.

Test the bulbs.

I'm currently looking in my manual diagram for fuse 43, but I'm not seeing anything. Could it be a different one by any chance?

Thanks again!

Hood fuse 43 is for the dome, map, and trunk lights.

Got the interior lights and taillight to work by switching out the fuses! Now I just need to tackle these door locks. What exactly will I be looking for? Frayed wires? How do I check for a grounding issue?

Remove the rubber boot covering the door jamb connectors. Carefully check for broken wires.

Can I do that with the door panel still on? Sorry for all of these rookie questions

Just opened the passenger side and everything looks okay. However, I opened the driver side and there was a split in the boot midway that exposed the wires. I unclipped the boot and it seems like there was a wire or two in there that wasn't nearly in the same shape as the other ones. Although it was kind of hard to see. Is there a specific color wire that I should be looking at? Would the driver's side wire affect all the others except the driver's door? So how should I proceed now, take the door off the hinges and look for a bad wire and if I do see one, splice one in?

Can you see the main color/stripe color of the wires?

Yes

Removal of the fender is probably needed to do the repairs. You'll also want to replace the boot.

I uploaded some photos, sorry, I used my phone so it's difficult to see anything. You can definitely tell though that's it's fairly "sludgy" in there and it may have corroded a wire or connection.

Yeah, picture is out of focus. What colors (main/stripe) are the damaged-looking wires?

I had to clean some of the wires off with a q-tip, but I see a white wire/red stripe with a break in the outer casing.

A broken Wht/Red wire would prevent the passenger doors from locking/unlocking but would not affect the driver's door lock.

Great! So I'm on the right track haha! Is there somewhere I could see these wire color codes by any chance? So I'm guessing I should proceed then by removing the fender, clean that gunk that got in there from the boot being open, replace the wire (by splicing in a new one?), and then replace the boot?

I'll post the circuit diagram.

Yep.

For bolded - Remove connector pin, resolder to Wht/Red wire, reinsert pin into connector.

C556 shows the pin out of the door jamb connector:

Awesome! That diagram would be useful. Anyway to do this without soldering? Not sure if I have a soldering gun laying about or not. If need be I'm sure I could pick one up/borrow one though.

Soldering is a must. The wire generally breaks very close to the connector pin.

Also, am I just cutting the bad part of the wire, then pulling it over and resoldering it? Or do I need to pick up more wire? If so, what kind?

You'll pop the pin corresponding to the Wht/Red wire out of the connector and solder a short exposed section at the end of the Wht/Red wire to the pin. Then you just reinsert the pin (soldered to the wire) back into the connector.
