VTEC head swap and some bolt on's will yield a fun little set up for the street, I highly recommend you ditch that l/s trans it's seriously a slug in comparison to a gsr one. But what I did with mine was bore it to 85mm and throw some 12:1 pistons in and then pro 1 cams, etc car made a nice 248/163tq for around 3,000$ not bad imo

Best bang for the buck would be a vtec head swap w/ ITR/CTR cams, a GSR/B16 tranny and good suspension/sticky tires. IMO a car that handles well is just as fun as a car that is fast but wont turn.

I heard ITR/CTR cams don't make much power and are not as good as aftermarket cams. And i can't agree with you anymore there, handling is the best.

You used a B16 head or a GSR? And yeah LS tranny's are **** compared to them. And what gasket did you use to mount the new head?

boost the b20b if its a low compression longblock or rebuild with high compression pistons, block girdle, vtec head with a gsr trans and with a good tune you can probably hit +/-200hp.

You're not even asking how much hp you want to achieve in that block. What is it with this month and all of these lame questions?

Nope re-used my old gsr head since I had it already prepped from my old gsr set up, I used a golden eagle HG forget the thickness but close to OEM spec.

91oct tuned on Hondata, the gas is really good around here and elevation is decent. I don't know how it would hold up to DD use tho, have a few friends running 13:5:1 on 94 kinda scary imo lol but that's in a k20.

^^Very nice.. Damn that's high 13:5:1 lol

Ya I'm going to be running 91 on a little bit over 11:5:1 so I should be good.
