i have a EE8 B16A1

what are the ohms reading of my spark plug wire / cables ?

i need to know if i have one bad.

 

Depends on the brand, type, and length.
They are measured in ohms per foot so a two foot wire should measure twice as much (or less) than a one foot wire.

Measure yours. They should all be about the same with the shortest wire having the smallest amount of resistance and gradually/evenly increasing resistance on the longer ones.

 

If you're looking for a bad one, you'll likely have infinite resistance anyway. You can also open your hood when it's dark outside, with the engine running, and look for arcing through cracks in the wire insulation.
