New to the Forum and thankful for all the good info here. Recently bought a 01 Accord 4 cyl. 5spd and in doing the first engine/trans oil changes, I noticed a rusty area on the passenger side subframe. Digging into it, I found the structure rusted clear thru in 2 areas. Seems that the A/c drips from above and rots it out. Checking on-line, it's a seems to be an epidemic w/ these gen 6 cars. Wish I'd have checked into them a bit more before buying. Anyway, I cleaned it up and painted it with POR-15 rust treatment. I plan to monitor and see if it gets worse. I also attached a hose to the a/c drain but probably too late. Anyone happen to have the part# handy for that Rear Beam-Cross Beam?

 

Here are some photos of the problem and after I put the rust proofer coating on. I realize it's still probably rotting from the inside out, but maybe I bought myself a year or two.
