My Taffeta White AWD Autotragic RD1
Hello, H-T!
I haven't been around much lately, as my only car has been a 2005 6MT TL. I have decided to go back to my roots a little and get another 90's Honda. I decided on a 1st gen CRV, and I'm also buying a CRX. The CRV will be my daily/bad weather/snowboarding/mountain biking/whatever, ballin' on a budget beater.
I got it cheap from a woman that knew very little about cars, and just did whatever the dealer told her to do as far as maintenance.. up until the steering rack began to leak. She told me about the leak up front, and I found a few more things that needed attention during my inspection. (front lower motor mounts, exhaust mid pipe, noisy PS pump, etc)
Installed new rack, outer tie rod ends, lower motor mounts... did ATF change, (rear diff coming soon), and PS pump will be acquired next week.
Here's how she looked stock, and after installing the Yonaka coilovers. I raised the front up about 1/3" since this photo was taken, it sits pretty much level now.
I picked up an OEM roof rack for $20 at a junk yard and installed the Inno ski/snowboard holders.
Don't have a whole lot more planned for this thing-- tint is next, possibly some red/clear tail lights, rear sway bar, and eventually some kind of 16" or 17" OEM Honda/Acura wheels (with spare!) when the stock tires quit on me. I'm thinking 02-03 TL-S/CL-S wheels, maybe S2000 wheels, TSX... Who knows.
Enjoy!

Not sure why you decided to lower a vehicle you use for snowboarding. Seems counterproductive.
I have a very similar yakima rack and it actually fits 2 boards next to each other + 2 more flipped. Woohoo! But lifted mine for the snow purposes.
Keep it up though. It's a great car.

Thanks! I thought of doing the S2K wheels- they are definitely on my list. I'd like to do 4 of the same size if I can find them though. S2K wheels are staggered, right?
I have driven plenty of lowered vehicles in the snow and to go snowboarding, most of the time the roads are plowed more than enough for even a lowered Civic to drive on. At least where I used to go. I would drive a lowered CRV and I live in Montana haha, I think it just looks better! CRV looks great, I think 4 same stagger S2K rims would look great.
Yes they are all four ap1 16" wheels have been done on a crv and they looked great pictures are in the first couple pages of the official crv thread they were either purple or green i forget.

Added some stickers to the rear window and deleted the wiper arm-- here's a photo from our snowboarding trip back in February. I'll probably remove the motor and plug the hole properly sometime this summer when I'm bored.
Not much to report on the CRV, just been enjoying it a lot. I had a really annoying whine coming from the AC idler pulley so I replaced that, only to find that the whining noise was masking the grinding noise being made by the AC compressor clutch.
The compressor still works, so I'm just going to deal with it for now. The noise goes away when the compressor is working, and it's about to be hot here most of the time anyway.I attached a few photos. One is my pup guarding the RD1 and my girl's EP3, another is my RD1 and my beloved 600RR, and the other one is the RD1 parked next to a stock white 99 that I came across in a parking lot.

My passenger side tail light has a crack/hole in it and is letting water in, so I guess I'll grab a pair of red/clear DEPO lights. I've got a new driver side headlight housing and some bi-xenon HIDs to install... One of these days I'll get around to spraying my front bumper. It's pretty terrible.
Yea, that front bumper needs some serious lovin'. Everything will look so much better when you get it painted.
That cbr looks clean. Do you swap the back seat in when your girl is on the back? I was thinking about a delete on my bike, but I do like having a woman back there and the least I can do is give her some cushion. :D

My girlfriend wants her own bike and has no desire to be a passenger on mine, which is completely fine with me. I have the seat cowl on there and removed the passenger pegs. That with the fender eliminator and integrated tail light really clean up the rear of the bike! The last thing is to shorten the rear brake reservoir so there's really nothing hanging off of it anymore.
Oh, I forgot to mention my other two-wheeled beast... the Trek X-Caliber on top of the CRV in that photo with the CBR.
