Default Clutch slave cylinder should I replace?

Today I was removing my engine and trans for a motor swap in my 93 Civic hatch and noticed some leaking from the clutch slave cylinder. The leaking started as I removed the two bolts holding the clutch slave cylinder to the s20 transmission. None of the lines going from the clutch master cylinder down to the slave cylinder were not touched, only the two bolts connecting to the s20 transmission were removed. It appeared there was pressure in the line which moved the piston outward when removing from the trans causing brake fluid to leak past the piston? Is this common for the fluid to leak past the piston when removed from the trans? Not sure if I need to buy another one?

the seal is starting to go mine did that, for 20$ I figured may as well replace it yes it's normal for the piston to move out when you remove the CSC.

It's normal for the piston to extemd when you unbolt the CSC but not the fluid coming out of it. I replaced my CMC because it was needed and replaced the CSC just because it was 18 yrs. old, $12.

If the fluid pass trough the seal replace it, it's cheap and peace of mind.
