can hondata be reprogram for a different car
My buddy sellin me his p28 with hondata(tuned for his boosted b16) 440 injector n p28 auto ecu for 205. I was wondering if a tuner can reporgram the boosted ecu to work with my car. Also if anyone have a idea on price also would be helpful

Looks legit aside from the heat sink. Usually when the serial number is scraped off it is a stolen unit. Legit people have no reason to scrape it off.
Of course you can have it retuned for your car.
How much depends on your area. Could be $450 or $650+ as well as add ons if you have issues while on the dyno.

Tyvm for the input. I have another question regarding the hondata package. I notice they come with a cd when u purchase them. Is that cd important to have?
Oh okay ty. Is there any proper way to test if this ecu workin beside hookin it up a car? My friend claim it still work but it has been sittin around for a while

The CD ROM that comes with the S300 is just to get you going if you can't download the latest software due to lack of an internet connection. You are better off downloading the latest software directly from HONDATA.

ty so much n3va for you input. however i should of been more detailed. what i meant was is there a way to tell if the ecu is workin by hooking it up to smanager. as if the ecu doesn't work it wouldn't connect with the ecu.
