Been hearing rumors and I apologize if I steer everyone wrong, but I have heard from multiple sources that NHRA might be getting back into Sport Compact Racing, and Wally's might be back for grabs. If this is old news Delete this post.

But if it isn't lets hear some real time correct info on this. I'm excited and curious. What's everyone's thoughts on this?

 

There was supposed to be a press release regarding this but it never happened. Not sure what is going on, maybe someone in the know will chime in.

It's all hype and bullshit

 

NHRA doesn't give a **** about racing, and sport compacts still can't bring in enough money to make them pretend to care about us. GOOD! All the regional stuff is doing great for this sport, just like it did before nhra ruined it.

 

Its just a lot of talk going on. Nothing has been set into place or will be. The talk is just hype for now. Time will only tell what things will and can transpire.

No, the thread wasn't changed at all. There was a different thread that was created about this. One was the pri and another was by me that made that thread. I closed my thread because no valid information had come out from this. The pri was left opened just incase.

 

Look at what is going on in the NHRA with car counts now then sit back and ask yourself if you think they would want to start a sport compact series.

 

I'm not opposed to NHRA coming back. I think they will need to restructure how they do things. Learn from past mistakes. Wallys and a season ending cash reward!!!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!

 

I always thought a national and/or regional points deal would be cool.

So what month will we know and have to build or change cars due to rule changes at last minute..... really sounds like a organization that cares about the people actually racing. I wouldn't mind nhra but come on your talking march or later till rules even come out and VMP opens march 1st.
