Default Need advice on Accord lowering springs

I just bought these springs off of craigslist for 25 dollars. They are Tenzo R and have some rust on them. im not gonna be using the struts they came with, just the springs. What I am wondering is if you guys think they are too far gone. My car is getting old and will eventually die soon but I wanted to lower it before that came along. Some of that is dirt and came off with a good cleaning. Just looking for some opinions here. Thanks. Her

Sand that **** down to see how bad the rust is. If it's just surface rust, then you're okay. Sand her down real good and get some heavy duty spray paint to protect the metal. Preferrably red or yellow. But if there's holes then you shouldn't put them on kiddo.
