(p1259) where is vtec solenoid located?

Default (p1259) where is vtec solenoid located?

I've got a 1998 honda accord 3.0 coupe and I've got a code of p1259 , which i know has to do with the vtec solenoid but where is it located i can't find it in the chilton manual

The VTEC solenoid valve is on the assembly where the oil filter mounts. However, P1259 can be due to a problem other than just the VTEC solenoid valve.

P1259 is VTEC system malfunction but I bet you knew that, first off i would check the oil level, if the vtec oil pressure switch doesnt get enough oil it will trigger the P1259
