This is what it looked like the day I picked it up.

 

 

 

I had an old friend move up from Georgia to Northern Michigan where I live. He wanted to sell the hatch and pick up something more reasonable to drive. At the time I had a few cars for him to choose. He drove off with a 99 ex 4 door I had. I traded even up for this because underneath the **** this car was super solid. Something us Michigan guys search to hell and back for.

 

I wasted no time and got to work.

 

 

 

Did a little late night removing BS out from the car.

 

Started picking up some random things that would be necessary.

 

A little power washing.

Picked up a great deal on some DSS 2.9 axles

 

 

 

 

 

Started up and ran great the first try. Took it for a test drive and ended up putting 250 miles on it the first day out.

 

But then it was time to make it look a little better ...

 

 

Off to the body shop ... Good thing I have some good friends in my life. Up until this point the car was not touched by another soul. My good friend Brian was a head painter at the local shop and convinced the owner to let me rent the booth. He was there to walk me through it all.
