Hey everybody im looking for information all over the web and i cant get a legit answer. Im taking every percausion with this new motor I got a deal on. The block is a "Dart b series block". I have never worked with one. I am boosted and would like to know....what kind of oil should i use (weight/type) I dont want to risk blowing my internals to pieces. anybody who's had one have any pointers?

5-20 full synth at least that's what I run on my track car's engine haven't had any issues yet.

 

Call dart and see what they recommend

 

I would start with trying to get more information on the clearances on the bearings and such before recommending an oil, but I really don't know much about dart.

 

Can't recommend anything without knowing bearing clearances.

 

What are the bearing clearances? Is it the tall deck dart block or standard deck?
