Help injectors shorted to ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive got a 98 gsr and the injectors are constantly being held open. They have 12v constant like they should koeo and they have constant ground koeo. Now as soon as i unplug the ecu the ground is lost so it cant be the harness thats shorted but ive already tried replacing the ecu and main relay? Anyone seen this before im completely lost as to what could be causing this. Everything points to a bad computer but ive tried 2 of them with no luck
Check/redo your main grounds.
Symptoms point to a bad ECU/ECM, unplugging the unit getting rid of the grounds would confirm this, however with electrical issues the first thing you need to do is redo the main grounds, batt. to chassis, chassis to engine, VC and thermostat grounds.
If you have a bad main ground, loads, [like the ECU/ECM] will "seek" ground through other routes and that can/will cause havoc.
Redo the main grounds to eliminate them as the possible problem. 94
