EJ8 with P1381
This code just popped up and after a little google-fu it seems to be related to the distributor, however my distributor is only 6 months old and brand new, not a reman. My Engine is running just fine,no strange sounds and I would hear it if there were any, gas mileage is normal lately as well. Could this code have been tripped by the weather? I am in South Carolina and earlier when I was driving and for the last week it has been particularly wet out and very thick fog as well.
Thanx for any answers!

Is it a brand new Honda OEM unit?
P1381 is CYP intermittent failure. Reset your ECU, and see if the code comes back. If it does, I'm assuming your 6 month old distributor has a warranty - have it replaced again.

Awesomesauce. Thanx for the suggestion, The ECU has been reset and Ill update if the code pops again or not. It is not of Honda manufacture but it is definitely a plain jane Honda OEM distributor bought brand new from Advance. 99.9% sure it is still under warranty.
Then it's not an OEM distributor, it's aftermarket. OEM means from the original manufacturer, not anyone else.
Advance Auto Warranty Information
It should still be covered. As an FYI, you can also get that same Cardone distributor for about half the price from RockAuto.com. Check it out if they stiff you on a warranty.
