Please help 96 built lude Si
I have a 96 prelude Si with a h23 turbo, turbo pistons and lowered compression. I was told it had bad rings so I took it home and did a compression test and it came out like this.
Cyl 1: dry-130. Wet-150
Cyl 2: dry-140. Wet-163
Cyl 3: dry-129. Wet- 166
Cyl 4: dry-121. Wet- 165
It does not smoke and doesnt burn much oil nor do I seem to have loss of power, and the only spark plug that was wet( on the tip) was cyl number 3.
FYI I do have a crack in my turbo manifold.
Please help what's wrong with the car?????

a shop told me. but i didn't believe them. and whats worse valve guides or rings?? and no the o2 arent but there is a big enough crack that you can feel the air coming out
leaking oil into the combustion chamber is not so good either way. valve guides are "easier" to fix. remove head & send to machine shop. you can remove the pistons & rings with out removing the engine. take them through the bottom, remove oil pan. you still need to remove the head. air is also being sucked inbetween strokes in the manifold, kind of a venturi vaccum effect. is the fouled plug causing a misfire?
