Icon2 Driving related question...

With all the talk over the years of the 06 block cracking issue, I just have a question. I'm one of those drivers that doesn't really beat up on my car in my daily driving. Car is completely stock execpt for a K&N drop in filter. It's an EX sedan with a manual. Just had tranny rebuilt and new Exedy clutch installed. Will shifting a rpm higher than 4k make my block more prone to cracking? Has 150k on original motor/tranny.

Shifting in the higher RPM range will not crack the block. Just don't let it live up there often. If Honda didn't want you to rev up there, they wouldn't let the engine go that high.
