Default 215/40-17

I tried searching this with mixed results.

I'm looking for people who have done this on DC Integras and wondering if rubbing will be an issue. The tires I wanted to buy in 205/40-17 are no longer being made. I was told Yokohama has stopped making S drives in 205/40-17. There are a few sites that still have that size but for me to buy the wheels I want from one place, tires from another, and then pay locally to have them mounted is stupid. Right now on Discount Tire the selection of 205/40-17 is rather pathetic. I'm looking for a summer performance tire that will be ok in cooler temps. I drive the car in winter but where I am we don't get below freezing all that often and the car is not driven in any ice/sleet/snow.

I realize 215 will be 1.4% too large but I want to know if this will be an issue. Car is lowered but not slammed. I could always raise the car up if needed. I'm more worried about rubbing on the inside of the tire. The wheel is 17x7 (so I know the tire will fit the wheel) and the offset is 40.

Discount Tire has the wheels I want at a good price so now I have to figure out what to do. I need to pick up new wheels because one from my current set is bent. The tech mounting the tires last time said it was difficult to mount the tire on the wheel (wheels are 10 years old). There are other sites with the wheels and S.drives but the price difference is $45 per wheel. From what I remember last time I bought S.drives the price difference on the tires is close to $45 each as well.

If I go with correct sizes my realistic options from DTD are:
Nitto NT NeoGen ZR
BF Goodrich G-force sport Comp-2
Falken Azenis FK453
Falken Azenis RT 615-K

All of these seem like a downgrade compared to the S.drives which I love (this is my 3rd set). I get amazing traction from them despite the power and the low profile sidewall.

TIA

FWIW Tire Rack has the S.drives in the correct size but they don't carry the wheels I want.

Thanks for the heads up. If the Rack carried Konig wheels I would have picked them up from you. Would rather support a sponsor.
