98 Acura 1.6 EL auto/D15B swap - Having start up issues
So, I own a 1998 Acura 1.6 EL Sports Model and the problem is it losing power when I am driving or starting up the car. Before I say anything the engine was swapped with a D15B and is an automatic. First off, I apparently had a bad distributor and crank shaft sensor because my car was not getting any power in the spark plugs. I ended up spending money and bought me both new distributor assembly and a crank shaft sensor. Now, I am getting good feedback and giving me a good start up. But heres the thing, I took it out for a test run and the car looses power on the gas pedal. Had to bring my car to the side of the road, and when I tried starting up the car it would be hard to start up. Had to wait a good 15-30 min or so, for it to start up again. When I brought it back to my house it was able to start up normally. I decided to let it run for a while and when I shut it off and started the engine again it wouldn't start. Had to do the same process I did, when I was on the side of the road just give it some time and it would eventually start.
Btw, it is not my battery because it has pretty good life in it and was bought a few years ago. Also checked for any deterioration, and I found non.
So what I think is that it may be a faulty main relay and fuel pump???
Any suggestions? (*Also not too car savy, so giving some explanation may help thanks!*)
