i have a 1988 ef hatch with a d15b1 and i also have a b16a engine from a sir with y2 cable tranny that i want to swap in,

i allready did a dpfi to mpfi obd1 swap,

now some q's
i want to buy a ebay mounts kit, will i need any oem mounts for it to work?
is there a difference between the cable and hydro kit?

will my d15 axles fit the y2?

you will have to buy innovative b series mounts for 88-91
there is a diffrence between hydro and cable kit
no you will need b series axles and half shafts

 

You don't have to buy innovative mounts. HASport and other companies also make the mounts. "B-series into EF Chassis" is usually what they are called.

You don't need a kit for your car if you have a cable trans. It will work with the stock cable. The hydro kit coverts the cable to hydro obviously. Only needed with a hydro trans.

You will need B series axles. 90-93 non-ABS acura integra axles are the axle of choice.
