Default Experiences in an e30 Evo3 spec M3

So I went to an awesome rave on sat. (whole other cool story) and I met up with my e30 buddy Tim who's like 30 something and has been into e30's forever. He had a standard 2.3 M3 last time I saw him and it was nice but he recently got his motor completely rebuilt to 2.5 evo3 motor specs and a nice black paint job. He also did the basic bolt-ons. Wow! this car is fast. I've got a pretty nicely modded e30 325i and it just doesn't compare to this m. We took a nice 6 or 7 city block run just gunning it the whole time and the sound of that motor was just beautiful. I was extremely impressed with the overall performance of the car. The car just felt completely at ease going that fast. We also cut some nice corners just blasting through downtown St. Louis at like 4am. These cars never cease to amaze me. I can't believe how far ahead of the game BMW M was with these cars. I recently picked up a 97 integra gsr and I thought that it was pretty quick for a 4cyl but now I know what a built 4cyl can really do. No wonder the Evo3 was undefeated in DTM racing.
