Icon6 cylinder compression b16a3

hey i need the compression for the cylinders for my 2000 civic si with the b16a3. any help will greatly appreciated

140 is the service limit and 200+ is the norm this can be found in the FAQ sticky tho...

well just compression tested it unless my compression tester is no good. it blew 110 psi across the board. what dose this mean casue other than burning oil in vtec it runs fine

Repeat the test "wet". That means put about a teaspoon of motor oil in the cylinder before testing. What numbers do you get when wet?

ok i havent done it yet i will do it tomorrow but when i do do it and say i get higher numbers what will that tell me?

It'll help pinpoint if it's your rings, or something else. If you have access to an air compressor, you should also do a leak-down test. That'll help really pinpoint your issue.

While you're doing tests, buy or rent a block testing kit. You can get them for cheap at your local parts store.

ok never used a leak down test or a block tester i have an air compressor how do i do these test?
