Default 90 Civic SI/DOHC ZC OBD0 - Can I use a stock SI trans from this year?

I have a 90 Civic SI with a DOHC ZC OBD0. Transmission going out. Can I use a stock SI trans from this year? What would I need to get it to work. I have head axles are an issue.

Anyone know the FD and gear ratios on the stock SI tranny? Having trouble finding...

Stock si tranny should bolt up just fine. You can use regular si axles. Axles are only an issue when using the Dohc zc tranny which requires the integra intermediate shaft.

This is wrong. Integra, either first or second gen, intermediate shafts don't work with zc trannys, that use an intermediate shaft. Only an original zc intermediate shaft works. Anything else just won't work without total kludge. You do use integra axles tho.

Not that the op cares, the first part that is relevant to the question is correct tho.

SI is the best tranny you can choose for this engine. You won't cry when you broke an axle !!!
