Default Where can I buy steel charge piping

Hey guys,

I am having a hard time finding steel universal bends to use for my intercooler piping. I was looking on ebay and all I could find was aluminum intercooler piping kits. I was able to find some U J pieces on ebay but they are too thick and look like it would be used for exhaust. Thanks for you help.

You "can" mig alum, if your welder has a alum gun.

Just buy U Bends in a smaller gauge, (18) And cut them to what you need. I believe http://www.mandrel-bends.com/catalog/ has them.

It's called a spool gun and it's not really needed.
You can push an aluminum wire through a mig gun no problem. Typically you use 5356 wire because it won't bind as easily as a 4043. Some people also use 1 size larger tip. As the wire heats up it expands and clogs the tip. It's also ideal to run a Teflon liner. It helps guide the wire for a smooth transition. It can be done with the steel liner though.
And you need 100% argon gas.
