Hey guys , I wanted to do a h22a swap on my 94 accord ex , I been reading the forums and there great , I just some questions about the electrical stuff. A lot of people are saying the swap is pretty easy , that it fits right in (of course with the hasport mount) but other then that , what am I getting myself into? And yes the vehicle is an auto but it has the prelude auto and it's starting to wear down my f22b1. Please help you guys ! Thanks !

Just a quick question mike , would a h22a engine work fine with a mpoa transmission ?

 

u will need obd1 p13 ecu with the tcu for the tranny

 

I got the ecu already and the tcu, I'm just wondering if it will be a good pair ? I been reading around the forums and they say the mpoa transmission is the non LSD h22a tranny , is that right ?

 

MPOA will work, it may not have the ideal gearing for a H22.

 

Ideal gearing ? Well I think it should be a much more of an improvement then my f22b1 to Mpoa gearing because those gears are just way to low
