1991 Accord LX-What is the Best way to get traction in snow
Hey gang. So I drive this 5 speed 1991 Accord LX and the other day she slid in snow. Even in wt ground, with fairly new tyres, she slides when taking off normally. What would you suggest I put for better grip in the snow and wet tarmac surfaces?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Nitto SN2 is the best winter tire I've ever owned. Imo, they perform better than blizzaks. They do cost a bit more than the typical winter tire, but it's well worth it. Might want to check your sway bar endlinks links and whatnot too. Make sure everything's tight and not worn out.
A front wheel drive car in proper running condition with good, non studded tires doesn't need chains. I have driven in numerous conditions (white outs, black ice, unplowed highways, mountain passes w/ a **** load of snow on them) and have gotten through just fine without studded tires or chains. Welded diffs are for drift cars.
