Intake Interchangeable?
Wassup ya i got a 00 civic (im in the process of saving for a K swap) and i was on craigslist and saw that someone was selling an aem cold air intake im running a d16 if i get the intake will it be able to fit with the K or are they made to fit specific engines?

...the K series sits on the opposite side of the engine bay with the intake tube facing the other direction. You'll also want a 3" pipe for a K series.

No K series are completly different since the intake is in the front of the engine bay. Just by asking this shows you have no concept for the K series and I would suggest researching heavily before thinking of swapping one.
You can always fabricate your own. Pick up some aluminum piping from home depot, and bend it to fit your bay, then buy a spectre filter at autozone, slide it on, and get some hose clamps and your'e good to go. Like 40 bucks altogether, sure beats 240 for an AEM.

This is how i have built all of my intakes, including the one pre-turbo inlet on my old GSR. Our local Fleet Farm sold various lengths, bends, and diameters of aluminized steel mandrel bent piping...$5-10 worth of piping, a tape measure and band saw, a filter, and a few couplers is all you really need. I welded the pipe joints on mine, but a coupler would suffice
