Default slave valve 00 honda accord 4 cyl

I am at the end of my master clutch and slave valve replacement. After an exhausting bought with inserting the pin for the clutch master cylinder..... I thought the hard part was done. Well now there is the bleed valve to deal with. Can anyone give the secret to tighten and loosen this bleed valve. The posts I found addressed the issue but no one gave specific directions or pictures on how they were able to accomplish it. I have a 00 honda accord 4 cyl.

First things first. Have someone pump the clutch a bunch of times while you gently squeeze the rubber reservoir hose up and down. Air bubbles should come up through the reservoir. This will ensure all air bubbles have gotten out. Then you need to crack the bleeder bolt open about a quarter of a turn then have someone push the clutch down. Then close the bleeder bolt and have someone pull the clutch pedal back. Then continue doing this.

Make sure after about 5 or so turns you refill the reservoir. You don't want that reservoir to get down below the opening or you will get air in the system and have to completely start over so you can push that air pocket back out.

You will need to do about 4 refills or so until the system is purged.

I need to know how the heck you get a wrench to the bleeder valve itself. There is almost no room to get it down there. Pushing and pulling up on the clutch is pretty much useless if I can't get the bleeder valve open. I have read other paper people having the same issue. But no one mentions how they did it or if there was some sort of special wrench that was used.

Sorry, dunno about that car but normally you just need a box wrench on it on any car I've ever worked on. Are you trying to use a ratchet or something ?

Normally you would. But for some reason Honda decided to make the 2000 accord difficult to bleed the clutch..... You should have seen how hard it was to install the CLutch Master Cylinder. Easy to take out difficult to get it back in.

So far I havent any luck on how to get at that bleeder valve. I've been to a few parts stores and they couldn't figure it out. I've even called the Honda Service Dept and they just said "take it in we can do it for you." Really???? If I am having clutch issues what makes them think I can drive it in. I've also walk into a Garage and asked the mechanics inside. No one ever worked on a Slave valve for a 00 Honda Accord. I showed them pictures I took of the thing and they just said get a wrench and dont give up. I am on my 5th day with this thing.......

Hope that help. I think thats the motor mount in the front. As you can see there is no room next to the hrydralic line to get a wrench in in the only place that has somewhat of room to turn it. Thanks for helping.

after five days, numerous auto parts store, and luck I went to a garage and low and behold the old guy working on the same model car just finished changing the slave valve. He gave me explicit directions to get at the bleed valve. Consisted of a duwalt a grinding wheel and a wrench I can afford to mess up.

Grinded it down and now I have completed the job.
