91 CRX Si getting 98 DC4 upgrade?

I know this will sound a little crazy. Yet that is how I roll... I have a 91 CRX Si, currently sporting D16A8 Rover engine. I also have a 98 Teg sporting B20Z that was hit hard last month... total. My thought is take engine, trans, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, power windows and locks to the CRX. Will the spindles mount from Teg to CRX?

Also take OBD2 ECU and all components including wiring harness/instrument cluster

I am in Cali and have smog laws to comply with or pay even higher prices for false testing and risk getting caught in roadside... would like for the car to be legal and OBD2 diagnostics are easier to perform. Complication of swap is not an issue. I desire the anti-lock brakes (preferibly the larger Teg rotors) and cruise control. All components are at my disposal. Just would like to know if spidles will swap to EF control arms and cluster will fit dash bay. I know it will not be an easy task, not concerned with that.
You are in Cali with a Rover engine? Interesting.
Anyway, everything will swap over for the engine and trans. Of course you will need aftermarket mounts and different axles. Make sure you get the proper 90/93 DA axles and intermediate shaft (with the ABS ring to go with your ABS system!)
Your front knuckle swap will not work. The DC geometry is not compatible with the CRX chassis. You can source some Euro or JDM EF knuckles with the old school ALB (old term for ABS) provisions and make them work for your DC ABS system - or you can find a set of USDM DA knuckles for ABS and those will work fine.
The biggest issue for your swap is that OBD2 ECU. OBD2 uses an in tank fuel pressure sensor that does not exist on your pre-OBD CRX. I have yet to see anyone figure out an honest solution with a working fuel tank sensor. The best I have seen is to disable the sensor completely with an ECU flash. I'm not sure is a ref station notices that.
Good luck getting the DC power window system to mate up to your CRX. I'm sure you would be better off selling the DC units and getting units from a, 88-91 4 door Civic. You can even find UK LHD switches for the CRX (pricey, but they exist). JDM is RHD so it's not really what you want. If you have an alarm, you can wire up your power door locks so you can unlock with remote. Bonus: get exterior rear door handles from an 88-91 4 door Civic and put those in place of your door handles. No key holes!

Thx for the input 4drEF! I am not sure just how far the ref will look. I am aware of the pressure sensor in tank. I have not fully investigated that angle. One thought was to integrate the sensor in at the vent line. Yes the A8 is not a legal smog monster. It does a bit better than the SOHC yet the smog thing.

Yes I will post pics as I go. The CRX is my daily driver right now. I am preparing my Sierra to fill in during transformation. It will likely be a drawn out process.
BTW - you do not have to do the roadside ARB check stations.
Tell them you do not want to participate.

Officer can still ask for your license, insurance, and registration, but they can't force you to test.
They have a knack for telling lies to try to make you do what they want you to do.
