what CAI or SRI to use with Type R motor With Victor X manifold
That manifold does not belong on a stock n/a engine....

Why would one choose those intakes?
OP...what difference does it make? Get a 3" Aluminum or plastic pipe and make sure the suction air isn't hot. Done.

throw a velocity stack on that like the bpi it will help smooth out the powerband and give some extra hp too. all my research says that a length around 30" proves best for intake tubes
People don't think out of the box when it come to intake.
Did you ever made a simple dyno test of a CAI vs SRI ?
On a B series the power difference only because of the pipe length can be pretty brutal.
After that, 3.0'' is maintream, but anybody ever tested a 3.5'' diameter intake ?
Even on a stock B18CR you could be speechless about the gain it can provide.
And I will not talk about velocity stack or TB inlet.
Also, Victor X is for sure not the recommended intake manifold for a bolt on B18CR.
