I have a f23A1 in my accord and I love it aside from the current problems that I am having with the car. I don't know the exact Compression on it, but you should not have a problem with it at all.

JDM should be the same as US version. According to wikipedia the compression ratio is 9:3:1. Its a noticeable improvement over the F22 but to swap they're a total bitch.

Yeah you got problems with it and anyone else who tries to put the long block in their 90-97 Accord will have problems. That's why some prefer to ditch the F23 head and run the F22 head instead.

Its a powerful motor though, I drove in a 01' Accord and I could tell it was a lot faster than my F22a. Some like to hate on it who have F22's but I think they don't know what they're talking about.

Quality is equal and the compression in stock form should be 9.3:1.

Where you are dropping this into a 98-02 Accord, it is a direct bolt up. Keep your original intake and exhaust manifolds and you are good to go.

There are no issues dropping a JDM F23 into a USDM 98-02 Accord as the op is asking about......
