Anyone using Stongard,3M,or Rhinoguard? clear film to protect their front end?
I've got front end protection on my new car made by Leading Edge. They're all basically the same 3M material. Since it was new, I had a place do the install; it's a really detailed job, and I would have kicked in at least one headlight if I had attempted to do it myself.
Last weekend, I put on Stongard headlight covers for my crx's projectors. Was really simple, but of course, I did a pretty crappy job. But, the air bubbles should remove themselves over time. Was pretty cheap, at $25. That's the only part for the crx that Stongard has.
The front end protection that I got for my new car included the bumper, fogs, headlights, and front grill. I didn't get the hood stuff, because it's really noticeable if you get it for a panel that only covers part of it. The tanline is very bad.
I'd recommend however much you want/can afford/is made for your car. I've had no problems with mine (new car's had it on about a year now), and it's much cheaper than a new paint job.
