1998 Honda Accord F23A1
So I have a 1998 Honda Accord with F23A1 VTEC that I want to sell as I am going to be buying a 1997 Prelude. The motor is in rough shape so let me start from top to bottom back to front
Bad:
1. On Cylinder 1 it appears as though I have excess carbon build up
2. Shift linkage is worn and pops apart occasionaly
3. Going into gears feels like it wants to grind
4. O2 Sensors are reading low voltage and they are brand new
5. Evap Emissions sensor is throwing error codes
6. Front steering rack squeals like you would not believe
7. Front passenger wheel bearing is going out
8. Clutch feels funny and doesn't like me
9. sounds like the engine has some valve tapping
Good:
1. Body has little to no rust ANYWHERE
2. Engine runs like a dream when its a good day for it
3. Super trusty and I drive her everyday
4. Still has all the power that you would need
5. Still gets about 29mpg
So with all that said, if anyone wants to buy it I am in UpState new York and I am asking 1900$ for it. Makes a good first VTEC or just something to work on.
Let me know what you think and we can work something out.
