Default Opinions on this Valve Tappet locknut wrench?

Going to be doing some adjustments.

The snap-on is way more expensive than the last time I checked a few years ago (which was around $50 and already expensive)
http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/tools...e=snapon-store

so I started looking for other options and found this on Ebay..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Alltrade-648827-10mm-7-1-2-Inch-Jam-Nut-Valve-Adjustment-Tool-New-/350967616194?_trksid=p2054897.l4276
Its $13 and looks identical to the snap-on

Ive always been sketchy about buying some things on ebay..
What do you guys think?

looks like a good find imho. snap-on is overpriced no doubt about it.

I bought a used 10 mm open wrench and had a kink bent into it at a tool shop for $5. I use it with a flathead screw driver. IMO that's the way to go.

I bought a craftsman open end wrench and hit it with an acetylene torch then bent it myself in a vise. I use that and a screwdriver.

On my DOHC ZC I just use a regular open end 10mm, fits fine on there.

I bought pretty much the same tool from Amazon. It works fine.

I don't buy Snap-on much anymore, I have all I need, [except for the odd thing] already, the "looks identical to the snap-on" is because it just may be.

Now when I need something, I check out Princess Auto, where I will find "bargen" prices on pretty much the same thing, my Snap-on dealer want 3-4 times as much, and long gone are the days of Snap-on lifetime warranty. 94

princess is awesome I've gotten sooo much stuff there(big box items) only thing brand name I buy is my Ingersoll Rand guns cause of the TQ they put out. Hand tools I go to Canadian tire or buy used on kijiji in which I can usually get lucky and get some ones snap on/MAC tools. OP nothing's wrong with that tool looks like it'll do the job I'd but it.

i usually just use a deep socket with vicegrips so i can rotate it. a small flathead fits right down the middle of the socket. for 13 bucks tho, its probably not a bad idea to pick up

I do that on my ls engine. I dont think you can do that for vtec engines though. (Or can you? I havent worked on them before) I think I had to use an impact socket though so the hole was big enough for a screw driver.
