Default obd2a d16y7 in obd2b car

I researched this topic and found that the ecu is different along with the distributor plug and some iacv stuff. here's the deal, I have a serious oil burner on my hands and and looking to swap another y7 in it. I found a 2a y7. if I just take the long block and put the whole intake manifold set up and distributor off my 2b motor will everything else be the same? thanks in advance

Only difference is your distributor, just reuse it and swap the entire engine in.

Yes everything will work as long as you swap all of the obd2b required parts.

The only part to swap is the distributor. Everything else is the same.
