Default oil in my coolant

So my hondata has been giving me a code 11 engine overheating error. so I put a funnel in my rad and filled it up to check for air bubbles, as the coolant went down I notice there was an oil ring around the funnel. I have a brand new rad and engine only has about 12,000 miles on it. Am I looking at a blown hg? There is no coolant in the oil tho.
