--Stock Interior and Exterior, with surprise under the hood
K20Z1 Swap
--From 06 RSX Type-S
--Under 70K Miles
--If you dont care what K you get, or dont know what a Z1 is, this probably isnt the right swap for you
Everything is new underneath
Fresh fluids and alignment
Runs, Drives, Looks like stock
Sounds like a stock Si w/K
Wheels are not included. They have sentimental value and are kinda of shitty so you wouldnt want em anyways. Can provide steelies, or put your wheels on for you.
TRADES: Must involve cash on your side
99-00 Civic Coupe
--Prefer stock, Silver, HX
--Like Si, but B or D it is still 1.6 to me
--No Red
--Would consider H22 swapped
92-96 Prelude
--As long as rust free, it doesnt even need to run
--Black, White, Silver. No tan interior
05-06 RSX Type S
--Silver, Orange, Black
--High mileage better, need cash on trade
Feel free to offer, but that is really all I am interested in.
Pricing:
Everything is negotiable. There is no such thing as a firm price if you want to sell something.
Not that is matters, but I value the car at $12,000 (What I spent)
Proposed Sale Price: $7,600
Proposed Sale Price: $8,299
$9,999 (Listed high so you can legitimately bitch!)
Browsers, feel free to comment and complain
Buyer, please make offers, I would really like to trade with $3-5K on my side
Please contact with questions and offers. Nothing is insulting to me it is all just numbers, but try to have a logic or reasoning to your offer if you want to negotiate.
PHOTOS: Sorry for lack of exterior I will add more
--Drove it yesterday (1/24) for the first time since it snowed

I have driven almost 500 miles since I finished the swap. It can do 150 MPH+
All gauges work. This is not a "swapped" feeling car. This car drive like it is stock. No axles binding, no idle issues, no BS. Get in and drive.
Only thing that needs done is to put on a radiator fan. Wiring, sensors and fan switch are there. I can do it for you if you like, it just doesnt really over heat with how cold it is + full size rad.
PARTS:
Completely stock, umolested K20Z1 from 2006 RSX Type-S

--Valve Cover Gasket
--Iridium Plugs
--Acura Throttle Body Gasket

--Front Upper Control Arms
--Ball Joints
--Inner and Outer Tie Rods
--Blox Rear LCAs
--Wagner Ceramic Pads
--Drilled and Slotted Rotors
Once again, please feel free to give your opinion, with reasons.
I know the price is on the high side, but I am happy to show the car to prove the value.
This is not a "Slap-It-In" swap.
The car drives like it is stock until you hit the accelerator. It does not have misc wires hanging out or running all over the place. It does not need "this ran" or "that done" or "this worked out" or "a wiring issue" or "idle issue"
If you dont open the hood this looks like a complete stock civic on some douchy wheels! I personally enjoy driving it around as it is untinted windows and all and pooping on people on I-465! The look on the face of the unspecting owner of the 14 Si yesterday was pretty awesome as I pulled him
Buyer also flew in and is driving it ~11 hours home.

Yeah I understand.
I originally saw yours on craigslist.
I am not a big fan of EBP, but I am trying to get some cash for a build so I figured if I could work a trade Id do it.
Ill let you know. I am not getting as much attention as I thought. I imagine it is just the time of the year, and we are having a worse than normal winter here in Indiana.
I would be curious to your opinion on the price though. I know you are very knowledgable and sell alot of stuff. Im not wanting to gouge anyone but like I said I spent $12k and I know there arent a heck of alot of K swaps out there, but I dont want to give it away either because I love driving it.

10 grand? haha I'm sorry man but have you looked on here at all? you can get K swaps around 6-8k now. This car is hella beat up at that. Better off parting out the car.

frankenstien builds K24/K20s.
You dont know if the heads/blocks were decked, gaskets replaced, head bolts reused, valves properly adjusted, etc etc
do-it yourself wiring.
slap it in and go jobs
This is an uncracked OEM motor, and the best K at that.
All new underneath.
Done properly
Ive heard that you can do a K swap for under $4k, but I dont think thats true.
Anyways, I am open to offers, you might be surprised what Ill take for it.

Yeah, I would keep it. IN my experience buying and selling, some one isn't going to want to drop 8k plus on a car with visible rust under the hood.
Its a nice car that seems to not be hacked together, but its also a car so you will take a loss. I would part it out of you wanted to get the most money, if not, keep it and enjoy it.
I think, with what else is for sale locally and on here 6500 would be a fair price.

I dont know on the $6500, I think thats still low, but might be right for this time of year. would probably meet ya somewhere in the middle. Perhaps once the BS weather is done I can get a little more money for it.
I know it is not the best shell though. On the other hand the rust is all bolts and brackets, not actual body. Most civics I see out here have that......but I dont know
Im not upset to keep it, it just isnt fast enough....I finally realized what everyone has told me for years, the only fast Honda is a turbo Honda

Lol, I bet if it was scraping and I tinted the windows it would get more attention hahaha Honda people
It has new F&F type 1s so the buyer can go as low as he wants. I like to turn without hearing it lol
Plus I like the semi stock/crappy look. Makes for more fun on the high way. So far I have taken down the following unsuspecting victims on the interstate fly bys
-14 Si
-Newer 550 Li
-05/06 Type S
-0? V6 Eclipse
and just to be clear I didnt try to run them, they just found out they couldnt pass me after I passed em lol

Keep it, fix it up get rid of all the issues. That trans has more surface rust then a freight train.

Acknowledged. You are 100% right. You never get it back. Not trying to, just want people to consider what it costs when they make their offers. I know 8 is probably high, but I am pretty sure it is worth more than the $5K offers I have been getting lol
I dont see finding a Z1 with similar mileage (this one is 70K miles) full swap (motor, trans, harness, ecu, axles, shifter, linkages, and all accessories for less than $3K but I could be wrong.
You could definetely get an A2 or Z3 or some lower trim Ks for that or less, but if you are looking for best N/A power the Z1 is it.
Not hating, just saying. I appreciate the input though.
It is a solid car. Go drive a hack job swap and then come take this for a spin. We can work on the price.

I wouldn't take 5 for it either, but 6500 is fair (in my eyes). But its your car so you can make the price lol. and trust me I have been building these since the late 90s. Ive seen hack jobs.
Good Luck with the sale.

Super clean EM1 and even its brackets and bolts are rusty under the hood. Just the way it is on cars this old in this area
Also, trannys cant rust silly, they are aluminum J/K Thanks for the input man,
