08 type s parasitic draw
Looking for a bit of help...
Battery has gone flat twice this week. I got the multimeter on to it and I've got a parasitic draw. I pulled out the fuse for the circuit causing the draw and checked the manual thinking I nearly had it sorted.
The manual just lists the fuse as 'Back Up' though. What is this? A back up fuse? A back up for another circuit?
I'm no electrician, or mechanic I suppose, but I'm stuck for what to do next!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers.

That's just the backup fuse for the ECU.
When you have your multimeter on the battery testing for a draw, start taking out fuses one at a time until your draw on the multimeter reduces. That will be your bad circuit. You can troubleshoot the components on that circuit from there to determine exactly what is causing the draw.

When I say pull the fuses one at a time, I don't mean pull them all out. Pull a fuse, look at the multimeter, put the fuse back in. Move onto the next fuse until you find the right one.
Yeh that's what I was trying but about 5 fuses in I pulled this one out and the amps dropped right down on the meter.
Don't know how that can be though if the fuse is just a back up?

Find a wiring diagram and find out everything on that circuit and troubleshoot them one by one.
