Default Integra and Torque

Hey guys, lately I have been doing a lot of practial reading on combustion engines and their principle design and wanted to try a real world application. I want to address low end torque. The big problem; is it my car can go 140mph or how fast can I get to 140mph? I believe that answer is in torque which in turn provides launch at the wheels and the car accelerates. Now something else I understand is that power is torque, when you produce power it makes torque simply put. What do you think a build like this would run like...

B18b Head (non vtec)
*Stiffer springs n retainer
*Stock 1.7ish rocker ratio(I want torque, so high lift is important for low end cylinder pressures)
*Idk what cam would be good but I want one that has a high lift with slightly longer duration. Also adjustable cam gears.
*For the head port can enlarge the valve port by say 2mm and the intake manifold port by 3 or 4mm. This would increase gas velocity and also make better low end torque.
*stock injectors
*stock manifold

B18b LS Block
*No A/C
*shot peened rods
*again not sure yet for brand but some 10-11ish c/r pistons
*ARP bolts duh
*gsr/type r oil/water pump

MISC
*2.25 cat back exhaust by a exhaust shop
*2.25 4-1 tri y header, i did this instead of 4-2-1 caust the increased cylinder pressure and higher c/r. I don't think it would have been better.
*Solid piece CAI 60mm aluminum and stock TB

I'm really just trying to get some good feedback. If you have questions or inqueries say it, and I will answer.

Look to a P8R head to acomplish alot of your goals for head.

The P75 is the worst flowing of the non vtec heads. The P8R flows close to a B16 head.

theres a few cam choices to research.

The dome on the p8r head from what it seems like is also 84mm not 81 wouldn't this hurt my c/r. If I have to do port work on the p8r to make it flow like a b16, why not just improve flow with the p75 with larger intake valves. Or are you saying that the cam from a p8r head would be better?

Theres flow data on both stock heads. If you port and do work, it exceeds the B16.

IDK where that quote cam from, But K7-1ktrevor need to research before putting out info.

Heres the results:

[QUOTE:Spawne32]Just wanted to share this with everyone, this is a P8R non-vtec head compared against a B16 Vtec head, stock vs stock from Pure Tuning. Id like to thank Arron for looking into the flow numbers more for me with his heads he has in the shop. This is on an 84mm bore flowbench, to match the bore size of the chambers.[/QUOTE]

The cam from the B20z would be optimal if staying with OEM.

Theres a reason why people swap to a vtec head. Theres just too much $$ involved to get a nonvtec head to make power.

Granted I have a P8R thats gasket matched, cammed, and the rockers arent built for a high redline. So if your building a little street engine and not gonig for all out power, do what you can with the P75. Gasket match and grab some sanding barrels and do work
