had this car for few months

its a bone stock y7 motor recently rebuilt head new timing belt new water pump
good cat

new cap/rotor spark plugs wires.

timing checked with tgun
no codes
no startup problems no knock
38-40 mpg on the freeway

o2 sensor looks new
secondary o2 sensor might be original


when i take off the light the car shakes a bit which i think is from worn out engine mounts.

but during medium acceleration from start to about 2000-2500 car hesitates niticeably then suddenly i feel more power at 2500-3000.
in every gear.
i dont know how the single can supposed to perform at low rpm but from driving few others i dont think its normal...

4-5 months there arent any codes not even flashing.

 

thats not normal. you mess with TPS?
try a new tps. use a dremel to slot the screws. take them off then use regular screws.

 

I had this same problem. Plug wires were my problem. They were new but they somehow overheated or had too much resistance or something. The boots on the spark plug side were a little discolored. I ended up replacing everything else in my ignition system and had my injectors cleaned with no results. Then I did a compression check and pulled a wire apart. So I replaced them all and was amazed that the car suddenly ran perfect

 

I measured all wires they are all wirhin specs
Havent checked the tps.

Can it be incorect o2 sensor? One of the autozone craps that sends incorrect voltage
But doesnt trigger a code?
