Default resonator?

Alright my original plan was to go with a vibrant resonator and magnaflow oval. 2.25. But now I came across a decent priced apexi world sport (not 2) 2.25 should I still run a resonator. Its at the moment a stock d16z6. Will also be punching the cat and and putting a manifold on manifold.

waste of money sinking it into d16... a stock b20 is still going to be faster, that exhaust will come with a resonator already so why bother.

The dick riding of the CRV swap is really getting old. Stop bringing it up when it's COMPLETELY irrelevant.

OP, are you putting this WS on a stock exhaust system? If you are, you don't need to worry about a resonator unless you aren't happy with the exhaust note. Also don't punch the cat - you won't gain anything worth mentioning from it, you'll dramatically increase the pollution from your car, and it'll only get louder. "Putting a manifold on manifold"? What are you talking about?

Its just the muffler part of the ws im going to take it to a shop and have them bend me some piping. Aslo I wanted to get rid of the z6 exhaust manifold and maybe swap it with a y8 or megan manifold.

"Megan" is just another word for "cheap crap". If you can get a Y8 manifold for free, go for it. Otherwise, I wouldn't waste the time or money - it's just a bling piece, and won't give you any increased performance. If you're just having the muffler welded onto stock exhaust, don't even worry about a resonator.

Then yes, you should get a resonator welded into the new system. You should also get a new high flow cat welded in. Don't just "gut" your current cat.

Vibrant is what I've had under my car for years now, never had any problems.
