Who here has painted their bumpers/side moldings? tips/tricks?
I recently ordered a can of SEM Color Coat in silver to paint my bumpers and moldings. It is their rigid plastic/vinyl spray paint.

Is there any DIY info on this process? I am familiar with the prep/spray paint process but curious if there is any tips/tricks for our bumpers/moldings.
Would love to see examples as well! I am going for the SE bumper look with painted door moldings.

The colour prob wint match. Most people on here refinished their plastics to black, liek myself. You can see how I did it in my build thread.
I am well aware that silver is a tough color to match. I am looking for prep processes but thanks anyways!

The keys to painting plastic are
1.clean
2. Clean
3. Clean
4. Is it clean enough? Yes, clean it one more time
5. Scuff with a red scotchbrite pad
6. Use a spray on plastic adhesion promotor
7. Then spray your color on.
