Default Powder coating an intake manifold?

I was wondering if you have to get a special powder for coating an intake manifold ? I have a skunk2 pro series gsr one that I wants to coat for a more polished/chrome look. Also would it still be able to dissipate heat the same? I would think so because aren't the skunk2 black manifolds powder coated directly from them?

Are you talking about ceramic coating? Because that's not the same material used, as powdercoating. If the Skunk2 manifolds are powdercoated and not ceramic coated, they'd be the standard powdercoat you use on all metals.

Just polish it. You can do it yourself for pretty cheap. A couple sheets of sand paper, and then some wire wheel bits for a drill or dremel. Then some metal polish.
