just weld a piece of 2.5'' pipe in it's place it's quieter then a any muffler until you get up to 4K then it becomes rather loud. or if you really want a muffler then use a vibrant ultra quite as one, it's a mini resonator.

To be honest if 120$ for a muffler is too much find a new hobby or save for the good stuff, I paid 240$ for my F7 LCA's

well unfortunately UNICEF isn't in the car parts industry.
$220 for a full cat back is worthless too.
if you want something nice, it's not gonna be cheap.
sounds like this is something important if you keep getting **** from the police about it.

Buy a muffler meant for a conversion van at an exhaust shop. They have large outlets and you can buy them cheaply. They fit on coupes and sedans, usually.

Paid $140 for my Magnaflow Turbo Muffler with 2in piping behind the cat. Sounds good when cruising, not loud at all only when you hit WOT. If anything get the muffler and a better resonator.

I paid 60 bucks for materials to make my downpipe.

I run an open downpipe and it sounds 10x better than the full exhaust Hondas at the drag strip.
