Default D15B2 motor with v tec head swao help

its a 88 Civic, d15b2, the head gasket blew we pulled head and the head has major warpage u can feel deep in the head. so i figured might as well throw a Vtec head on it,Ive done a Mini Me swap on a 92 civic its was simple but this 88 has a completely different wiring harness.

what all do i need from the donor car? Does the wiring harness need to be removed from ecu all way to motor?

Check FAQ for DPFI to MPFI conversion. After that easiest thing to do is buy an adapter harness. Heck there might even be an adapter harness out there that includes the MPFI conversion already included.

Do a search on Ebay. Type in MPFI harness. I bought one from monotech and it worked flawlessly. It is Plug and play engine harness for a dpfi car to run an mpfi engine.

Then all you'd need then is...

-the ecu
- complete cylinder head
-head gasket
-T-belt
-water pump
-convert to OBD1.

P.S. don't forget to pull the oil jet out of the center of the b2 block!

Check the FAQs for details on the conversion.
It's been covered too many times to repeat again.

Is it worth it? That's purely subjective.
What would make it worth it to you personally?
