Default Yea Buddy

Just recently bought a 2012 Civic SI

Looks promising!
However it had a little fender bender, so now im just kind of fixing it up (will post pictures when the car is complete)

Should be complete in about a week or so.

Now I got like a MILLION idea's flowing through my head.
Turbo, Break upgrade, exhaust, carbon fiber, etc etc etc

Any idea's, questions, comments or concerns are always welcome.

Oh, and if you happen to be parting out on a 2012 Civic I could really use some airbags...

break upgrades? you want a kitkat?

brake upgrades as in bbk then it's a complete waste of money as you will never get those things up to temperature on the street to use them properly! Unless you want to doing it for hardparker status go for it.

Looks like he has to rebuild the car before he can even start doing upgrades.

Yea I kinda do, I already bought most of the stuff directly from the dealer, just need to wait for the shocks (they discontinued them so I had to make a special order, and air bags, dealer was out of stock on those, after that I'm a go!!!

I also have a Muffler on it, I haven't checked it out yet, all I know is I don't want it. It sounds nice and whatever, but still, so if anyone has a stock muffler they'd like to trade I'm all for it :D

Ultimately I would leave it primarily stock considering, bolt on's do not help due to the integrated exhaust manifold in the head, i-vtec on the intake side of the head, not the exhaust side, and if you want to make any power forced induction is the only way to go.

Considering all of that the best bang for your buck is coilovers and bigger rear sway bar. If you go the forced induction route I would suggest a lot of research before you make that 5k+ turbo/supercharger kit purchase. 12:0:1 compression ratio is not the ideal for boost unless properly tuned.

That not true at all... a few guys have made some nice power gains from bolt ons!
