engine ice MX coolant in a f22
I've never used it so I'm really not much help with any personal experience. I've heard a few guys running water wetter and having good results. What's up, are you having over heating issues or just looking for piece of mind?
well ghost as im sure you read in the f22/crx question post i had, wrecked my cd5 anyway its running a bit warmer than the norm but not hitting 200f before the wreck it never got hotter than 180 so i was just wandering about the engine ice. in the MX world its some bad ****!!! so my only concern was will it damage the cast iron sleeves?
it never touches the sleeves. i don't know what's in the stuff but inside the block (water jacket) it only contacts aluminum. if the block is stock of course. aftermarket sleeves would be exposed to the coolant.
water pump impeller, heater core, thermostat frame, by-pass and heater hose nipples and metal water pipe on the back of the block are all steel in contact with coolant. not sure if that matters, but there you go.
