Default Quick motor mount question

Hey guys:

I think my old 2000 Accord may need at least one motor mount. When you start the engine, you can feel a small kick, and same when you turn it off.

It idles pretty smooth, nothing I would characterize as unusual, but I notice if the clutch ever shudders slightly you can hear it through the whole car. This is a 5speed 2.3L btw.

I've only had a 5th gen and a 7th gen before this and I recall them as being super smooth so maybe those of you who have logged many more miles than me can verify or deny that it's normal to feel the engine start or stop that much.

Thanks in advance.

Or maybe not. Anyway I crawled under with a strong light and the front mount is busted.

Thanks for the assistance.

If the front mount is broken it is most likely the rear mount is as well. The front mount is called a 'stopper' by Honda. If the rear mount is loosing integrity/resilience it is most likely allowing more than normal travel causing the front stopper to be over stressed and causing breakage.
