I recently got a 2008 Honda Civic EX-L with a salvage title. I have read up on the TSB for 2006-2008 Honda Civic SOHC I-VTEC. I called a Honda dealer in my area and was informed to contact Honda North America. The service advisor informed that the VIN was flagged and attached Salvage Title. When I spoke to Honda North America, they told me that the extended 8 year unlimited mileage coverage with the TSB is null and void. Does anyone know if this is actually true?

The vehicle has 120k. Started leaking coolant onto the ground on the passenger side. Noticed coolant on the block near the header. According to the TSB, the block will starve of coolant and eventually crack. Trying to find out if the dealer will replace my block with a new one just because it has a salvage title. Looking for a different angle to get it covered even though it has a salvage title. Thanks.
