Default Battery Light

After doing a lot of research and some repair, I still can not find the answer to why my Battery light keeps coming on in my 92 hatch.

I had the alternator replaced a while back, and had no issues, after a while the battery light would come and go, and flicker.

Today I replaced the battery and I still have the same issue. Before you say it could be the ALT. I had it tested along with the battery and was told the battery was the issue.

I can't see any faulty wires... Someone please help so I don't just cut the wire to the battery light

A bad battery won't cause the charging system light in the cluster to turn on. Your car has a charging problem, which is typically the alternator.

Do you have heavy corrosion in your terminal cables?
